YOUR TASKS
- At least 90% of your assignment will be spent on academic research in preparation of a doctoral dissertation
- Conduct original scientific research leading to a doctoral degree (PhD)
- Develop mathematical models and signal processing algorithms
- Design and evaluate advanced radar waveforms
- Perform simulations and experimental validations
- Publish results in leading international conferences and journals
- Present your work at scientific meetings and conferences
- Collaborate with academic and industrial project partners
- Support the supervision of Master’s thesis students
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field
- A strong background in signal processing and communication systems
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Good programming skills (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar)
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- A strong interest in scientific research and innovation
Preferred qualifications
The following qualifications are considered an asset:
- Knowledge of radar systems
- Experience with detection and estimation theory
- Experience with optimization techniques
- Familiarity with machine learning methods
- Experience with software-defined radio platforms
- Experience with wireless communication or sensing systems
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
- We offer you a contract of indefinite duration with a maximum term of 4 years.
- Your contract will start on 1/11/2026 at the earliest.
