Position Summary

The School of Accounting maintains a pool of candidates interested in filling pro tempore positions as needs arise. ... The Department is seeking talented faculty who are passionate about teaching and learning to teach accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Courses are scheduled to be conducted on campus and in the classroom.

Minimum Requirements

Instructor: Master's degree. In exceptional circumstances, a BA/BS degree and evidence of substantial professional experience may substitute for an advanced degree.

Lecturer (for those teaching primarily graduate-level courses): Terminal degree in relevant field.

Professor of Practice: Substantial basis of experience equal to a tenured professor (normally a minimum of 12 years). ...

Professional Competencies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills...
Demonstrated ability or potential for quality teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD or other doctorate and demonstrated teaching experience.
