Department Summary
The Department of the History of Art & Architecture ("HAA") offers undergraduate, Master's, and PhD programs in the history, theory, and criticism of art, architecture, and visual culture. It is also home to the Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies.

Position Summary
The Department of the History of Art and Architecture at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for our pro tem teaching pool. Positions are limited duration appointments and potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. These appointments may be contingent on funding. Salary is dependent on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Art and/or Architectural History or other related field required prior to appointment; all but dissertation (ABD) may also be considered.
Professional Competencies
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and facilitate student learning.
- Ability to work cooperatively with diverse faculty and student populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent record of scholarly, creative, or other professional accomplishment in relevant field.
- Prior college or university-level teaching experience.
