Professor in Sustainable and Resilient Entrepreneurship
DTU Entrepreneurship is opening a position for a Professor in Sustainable and Resilient Entrepreneurship. We are looking for an outstanding scholar who combines research excellence with a genuine passion for impact - someone who can lead cutting-edge research on entrepreneurship, business model innovation, sustainability transitions and resilience, and translate it into actionable knowledge for academia, industry, policymakers, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The position is anchored in our research group on Sustainable and Resilient Entrepreneurship and Innovation and represents a key step in consolidating DTU Entrepreneurship’s international leadership at the intersection technology entrepreneurship, sustainability transitions, resilience, and regenerative business development.
Responsibilities and qualifications
We are looking for an excellent scholar to join and play a leading role in DTU Entrepreneurship. As a qualified candidate, you are expected to have demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and academic service. You have a strong track record in one or more of the following areas:
- Sustainable and resilient entrepreneurship
- Business model Innovation for sustainability and regenerative business
- Innovation ecosystems and technology commercialization
- Societal impact of entrepreneurship and innovation
As a part of your key responsibilities, you will:
- Lead and develop research on sustainable and resilient entrepreneurship and innovation, producing high-impact publications in leading international journals
- Build and lead a European research network in sustainable and resilient entrepreneurship and innovation, fostering joint research projects, doctoral training, and field-building activities
- Attract competitive external funding from national and European sources to support frontier research, doctoral education, and executive education
- Supervise and mentor PhD students and early-career researchers in the group
- Play a key role in executive education offerings at DTU
- Contribute to scientific advice and evidence-based guidance for policymakers, industry actors, and ecosystem stakeholders engaged in the sustainability transition and resilience building
- Actively participate in the continuous development and growth of the centre across research, education, and outreach.
