Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Philosophy. The position is open to all areas of specialization, but applicants must have an interest in – and commitment to – pursuing teaching and research in philosophy or ethics of AI.
The appointee is expected to develop a vigorous, independent research programme, to excel in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development, and to handle the usual non-teaching duties. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary for fixed-term appointment.
