Job Summary/offer: The professorship is affiliated to the Clinical Centre for Ruminants, Camelids and Herd Health Management, and is intended to focus on research and teaching related to ruminants in the Alpine Region. The aim is to strengthen Vetmeduni's role as a motor for innovation and transformation according to the university's development plan. In line with the One Health concept, the research results are intended to make a significant contribution to both animal and human health..

Requirements
- Research Field: Medical sciences » Veterinary medicine
- Education Level: PhD or equivalent
- Specific Requirements:
- Completed studies in veterinary medicine
- Completed subject-related Doctorate / PhD
- Proof of interdisciplinary research activities in the relevant field and ability to network (e.g., demonstrated through Tiergesundheitsdiensten, state agencies, stakeholder groups or veterinary practitioners)
- Outstanding, relevant publication track record
- Proof of successful acquisition of third-party funded research projects as Principal Investigator (PI)
- Didactic qualification or experience in teaching, supervision, and training of undergraduate and graduate students
- Diplomate of the European College of Bovine Health Management or European College of Animal Reproduction
- Very good command of German (C1)
- Very good command of English (C1)
- Languages: GERMAN Level: Excellent
- Languages: ENGLISH Level: Excellent
