About the role
The University of Bath’sSchool of Managementseeking a highly organised and proactive Programme Administrator to join the MSc Office team.
This is a fast-paced and varied role, assisting with the delivery and management of a portfolio of PGT programmes. You will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality student experience by coordinating programme administration, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records.
Working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, you will manage a high-volume workload in a dynamic, multicultural environment. You will liaise regularly with students, academic staff, agents, and central University departments, requiring strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with University regulations and established guidelines.
About you
You will be a motivated and diligent administrator with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
You will demonstrate:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work autonomously and take initiative
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including experience with databases and record systems
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience of working in a customer-facing or higher education environment is desirable.
Further information
This is a busy and varied position requiring flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend work to assist with events.
The postholder must be able to work to tight deadlines, adapt quickly to new systems and processes, and build effective working relationships across the University.
This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis (36.5 hours per week).
