Project Assistant (23241242)
The Faculty is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Assistant to provide support in research administrative activities. Reporting to the Faculty Research Senior Manager, the qualified candidate will contribute to the delivery of faculty-led initiatives and ensure the smooth flow of projects, data accuracy, and timely deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Research Administration Support
- Assist with research data collection, processing, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance;
- Provide guidance to departments on research-related administrative matters; and
- Prepare reports, funding application, and analyses as required.
Postgraduate Research Support
- Support administrative processes for Research Postgraduate (RPg) programmes, including student enquires, document preparation, and data management; and
- Collaborate with academic units to ensure alignment with institutional guidelines and deadlines.
Research Events and Outreach Coordination
- Assist in planning and organising faculty research events, workshops, and conferences;
- Liaise with and maintain clear communication with internal and external research reviewers, guest speakers, and collaborators;
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely completion and deliverables; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A recognised bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience;
- Professional fluency in both Chinese and English;
- Excellent organisational and project management skills;
- Experience in data collection, handling, management, and visualisation for the purpose of drafting/finalising funding proposals/research is preferred;
- Self-driven, proactive, good communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
