"Project Associate (DST)"

Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate (DST) to work on a project sponsored by DST – TIDE, New Delhi, Govt. of India in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore.

Title of the project: Voice Enhanced Assistive and Safety Device for Elderly Person.

Essential Qualification: Candidate should have M.E/M.Tech. degree in Biomedical Instrumentation/ Medical Electronics/ Embedded Systems/ Control & Instrumentation/ Applied Electronics/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science/ Software Engineering.

Desirable Qualification: A consistent good academic record coupled with excellent programming & practical skills on MATLAB/LabVIEW, knowledge on Embedded programming/PCB design and with valid GATE score is preferred.

Fellowship & Duration: As per DST norms (Rs. 31,000/-) & the duration of the project is Three years and purely temporary.

Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidates should register for the full time Ph.D. at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed to be University) after fulfilling the minimum qualifications prescribed by the University.

Job description: The successful candidate is expected to carry out the objectives of the project closely working with PI.
