Project Scientist Series Pool Ad
Project Scientist positions are occasionally available throughout the year in the Department of Pediatrics, School of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated, with research experience in specialization strongly preferred. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Appointments are based on performance and availability of funding.
The Divisions and Programs: Adolescent Medicine, Genetics/Metabolic Disorders, Pediatric Neurology, Allergy/Immunology, Hematology/Oncology, Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Pulmonary, Child Development Center, Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine, Pediatric Surgery, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Pediatric Urology, General Pediatrics, Exercise Medicine.
Basic qualifications: The candidate for a title in this series must have earned a doctorate, or its equivalent (PhD or MD/PhD).

Salary range: A reasonable estimate for this position is $76,700-$201,900. See Project Scientist Series- Represented Fiscal Year, Exempt and Non-Exempt for details.
