Order, pay and reconcile small dollar purchases using School
credit card.
Place e-procurement supply orders through Show Me Shop.
Process Non-PO voucher payments.
Manage new supplier setup and existing supplier updates.
Manage payments with special handling requirements (hold
checks, enclosures, etc…).
Finance and Administrative Support
- Log and endorse incoming checks according to established
internal controls.
- Provide travel reimbursement support to faculty, staff, and
students.
- Assist faculty and staff with supply needs for meetings.
- Reconcile payroll and ensure compliance with financial
policies.
- Reconcile dental clinic deposits.
- Educate staff on policies and procedures.
- Provide backup coverage for team members as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable
knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management
skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Experience in accounts payable or accounting.
- Experience working in a university setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Access.
- Experience with PeopleSoft financial systems.
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established
as $23.00 - $26.50 per hour.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not
limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education,
skills, and experience, as well as organizational
requirements.
