Real Estate Adjunct Assistant Professor Pool

Position Summary

The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for this part-time, temporary (Adjunct) faculty position. American River College is accepting applications on an ongoing basis for Fall 2026. Applicants are contacted and hired based on college needs.

The adjunct faculty member shall be responsible for teaching assigned classes under the supervision of the area dean; helping students fulfill their maximum potential in mastering course content; assessing student learning outcomes; and other duties as assigned.

Typical Duties

The instructional assignment may include teaching: RE 300 - California Real Estate Principles, RE 310 - Real Estate Practice, RE 320 - Real Estate Finance, RE 330 - Legal Aspects of Real Estate, RE 350 - Real Property Management, RE 360 - Real Estate Economics.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Have a bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of professional experience; OR any associate degree and six years of professional experience; OR the equivalent. Professional experience must be directly related to the assignment being taught.
2. Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
