Job Summary
The Regional Partnership Coordinator serves as the primary college access representative for Lamar State College Orange within Polk County. hours at Livingston High School to provide accessible, in-person assistance to prospective and current dual credit students. This position works collaboratively with the Dual Credit Partnerships and Student Services departments to ensure efficient service delivery and a positive student experience.
Duties/Responsibilities
Partnership Management – Dual Credit
- Serve as the primary liaison between Lamar State College Orange and assigned Polk County school districts.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with counselors, CTE directors, campus administrators, faculty, and district personnel.
- Support district planning efforts related to dual credit pathways, enrollment planning, and program implementation.
- Communicate institutional policies, procedures, deadlines, and program updates to district partners.
Advising and Support Services
- Conduct regularly scheduled office hours at Livingston High School to provide in-person support for prospective and current dual credit students.
- Assist students and parents with admissions processes, educational planning, course selection, and general dual credit information.
- Connect students with appropriate campus resources including testing, tutoring, accommodations, and other student support services.
- Provide follow-up assistance to students throughout the enrollment process.
Recruitment and Outreach
- Represent the college at recruitment events, parent meetings, orientations, college fairs, awards ceremonies, and other community events throughout Polk County.
- Assist assigned districts with dual credit recruitment and awareness initiatives.
- Coordinate campus visits and informational sessions for prospective students and families.
Enrollment Coordination
- Collect and review enrollment documentation for completeness prior to submission.
- Coordinate with Enrollment and Records Specialist to facilitate timely processing of applications, registrations, and enrollment changes.
- Assist in resolving enrollment issues through collaboration with district contacts.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Directors and departmental staff to support institutional initiatives, student success, and partnership development.
- Maintain communication with Livingston ISD personnel regarding dual credit activities and student needs.
Other Job Functions
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- Serve on committees as requested.
- Support departmental initiatives, recruitment activities, and special events that promote student access, enrollment, and success.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
Minimum of three years of experience in higher education, K-12 education, student services, enrollment management, dual credit, or a related field required. Experience developing collaborative partnerships with school districts, community organizations, or educational stakeholders is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and student information systems, such as Banner, is preferred. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and effectively support students and community partners in an off-campus environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The Coordinator should possess strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. The individual must demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills while establishing collaborative relationships with students, parents, school district personnel, faculty, staff, and community partners. The ability to interpret and apply institutional policies, communicate effectively, solve problems, and exercise sound judgment is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to effectively utilize student information systems and institutional software are required. The Coordinator must be adaptable, self-motivated, and committed to providing high-quality support while representing Lamar State College Orange in a professional manner.

Requires constant movement and observation, operating computers and audiovisual equipment, as well as various other instructional and office machines.
