"Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization"

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients undergoing procedures or exams in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) and/or Cardiology Department at any site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.

The Cardiac Cath Lab department requires a dedicated professional who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 (Hourly Rate).
