About NUS AIDF

The Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF) is a university-level institute at the National University of Singapore (NUS), focused on digital finance, fintech innovation, and artificial intelligence for financial services. AIDF works closely with regulators, industry leaders, and academic partners to drive research, education, and ecosystem development across Asia and beyond.

This position will support AIDF’s Industry Engagement initiatives, including our education programmes and selected research translation and commercialisation efforts. The role sits at the intersection of research, and business development, contributing to market outreach, stakeholder engagement, and programme growth.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Research Assistant who is interested in gaining hands-on exposure to ecosystem engagement, and pre-enrolment advisory support within a leading university environment.

Job Description

Marketing & Communications Support

  • Support the development of programme marketing materials, including website content, brochures, newsletters, and event communications
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and publishing content across digital channels such as LinkedIn, email campaigns, and social platforms
  • Coordinate content calendars, posting schedules, and basic performance tracking
  • Support the preparation of thought leadership and faculty or student spotlight materials

Outreach & Business Development Support

  • Support engagement with prospective participants, industry partners, and ecosystem stakeholders
  • Assist in organising and promoting events, webinars, masterclasses, and company visits
  • Conduct partnership research and outreach to organisations, associations, and professional networks
  • Maintain contact lists and CRM records, and support follow-ups with partners and prospects
  • Assist with preparation of proposals, briefing decks, and materials for external engagements

Pre-Enrolment & Advisory Support

  • Serve as a first point of contact for programme enquiries and prospective participants
  • Provide timely responses to enquiries and share relevant programme information and materials
  • Support initial qualification and needs assessment of prospective participants
  • Assist with scheduling consultations, tracking engagement progress, and maintaining pipeline records
  • Prepare customised information packs, presentations, and proposals to support participant or partner discussions
  • Work closely with the admissions and marketing leads to nurture interest and support enrolment conversion

Research & Market Intelligence Support

  • Conduct desk research on industry trends, competitors, institutions, and executive education offerings related to AI, digital transformation, and fintech
  • Compile market insights to inform marketing strategies and partnership development
  • Support internal teams with background research for presentations and programme positioning
  • Assist in preparing bilingual or cross-market materials where required

Administrative & Project Support

  • Provide coordination support for outreach and programme-related projects
  • Track campaign metrics, engagement outcomes, and simple reporting
  • Support documentation, scheduling, and meeting coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with general operational tasks as assigned

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
