Job Description
The Research Assistant will be members of the ACI research team, working under ACI Director, Professor Paul Cheung, to work on a number of projected related to China economies.
The candidate should have experience in policy analysis and be familiar with the socioeconomic development of China economies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Masters degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or equivalent
- Familiar with socioeconomic development of China economies
- Familiar with working on the large economic datasets for statistical analysis
- Demonstrate good organisational and analytical skills
- Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese is required, as the role involves frequent communication, documentation, and collaborations in these languages
- Able to multitask and manage tight timelines
- Able to work in a team as well as independently and must be highly self-motivated
- Able to commit to at least 1 year of service
