support the research team in analysis of diagnostic samples and in the day to day management and development of the group's autoantibody diagnostic service.
Key duties will include
- Preparing, generating and recording the outcome of laboratory work
- Contributing to the design and execution of the autoantibody diagnostic service and research projects e.g. timetabling and meeting project milestones
- Contributing to the production of research reports and publications
- Regularly participation in group meetings
- Assistance with supervising student and research fellow projects
About you
- have excellent time management and organisational skills
- be able to work independently and as part of a team
- have knowledge and experience of undertaking relevant immunological assays, such as ELISA and immunoprecipitation, for autoantibody identification,
- have knowledge and experience of immunological assay optimisation
