Research Assistant

Business Administration department CMUQ is looking for one full-time Research Assistant (1 year position, extendable).

The person will work on research projects in the area of Marketing (specifically Consumer Behavior) and Organizational Behavior.

Job Responsibilities

1. Brainstorm ideas and subsequently create material for studies, such as ads and product packages.
2. Organize studies including recruitment of participants.
3. Do literature review and discuss findings on specific topics with supervisor.
4. Write progress reports and any other documents/proposals as required.
5. Do statistical analysis on data collected.

Requirements for the position

1. Intermediate/expert level skills in photo editing.
2. Bachelor degree in business, psychology, or a related area.
3. Ability to do academic/professional writing.
4. Be comfortable with statistical analysis and/or willing to learn.
5. Other skills: creativity and problem solving skills.

Other factors that will be considered

1. Skills in video creation and editing.
2. Previous experience with academic research.
