Informal Queries

This is an exciting opportunity for an early career researcher with experience in a social science, behavioural science or health-related discipline to work on a research study assessing the feasibility and effectiveness of using blood biomarker tests in the NHS to diagnose individuals with Alzheimer’s. You will work as a member of the multidisciplinary and cross-institutional ADAPT team, led by colleagues at UCL. The role is primarily based at Gibbet Hill (Warwick Medical School) on the University of Warwick campus, where most of the work will be carried out. While some flexibility may be available, this is not a remote position. This role will involve some travel to London to attend key meetings.

About You

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in the social, behavioural or health sciences. You will have relevant training and experience in qualitative research, particularly around conducting and analysing interviews and focus groups. You will have excellent communication skills, an ability to work independently and have an organised approach to the management of your work.

You will be a member of the ADAPT team, playing a key role in conducting research around the experiences of those involved in the trial as either participants or health care professionals.
