Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 534496) (to commence as soon as possible for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Work, Social Science, Gerontology, Psychology, or Urban Studies, preferably with at least one year of work experience. They should be competent in statistical software. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational and interpersonal skill; ability to work independently and as a team, and to collaborate with external parties.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (Professor Ethan Cheung) in managing multiple projects, including age-friendly communities, healthy aging, and active aging, and will perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
