The successful applicant will be part of a group that investigates plant development, particularly from a mechanical point of view. We are looking for someone who is excited about plant development.

We work on a range of plant species including Marchantia, Arabidopsis, and Maize. A major part of the job will be to maintain these lines and organise the seed stocks. We would also like the successful applicant to play a leading role in generating new Arabidopsis lines for the lab. Experience in cloning, plant transformation and screening new lines is required. Experience with microscopy would also be desirable. The candidate should have a willingness and ability to learn and work with new methodologies.

Candidates should have a background with a Bachelor's degree in Plant Biology or related fields. Good organisational skills are required. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and with others. A high degree of accuracy, including outstanding record keeping, are also required.
