Duties and responsibilities include:

• Developing protocols; operating and maintaining a high-throughput liquid handler for NGS library preparation.
• Processing and analyzing NGS data generated and performing quality-control data analysis.
• Keeping track of project progress.
• Assisting in research projects.
• Maintaining organized record of experiments.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree (for Research Assistant) / a PhD degree (for Research Associate) in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Genomics, or related disciplines.
• At least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in next generation sequencing.
• Familiarity in the experimental design, optimization, and troubleshooting of NGS library preparation protocols.
• Fluency in English and possess good communication and writing skills.
• Detail-orientated with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

(Duration: 1-2 year(s), renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. If a 2-year contract is offered, a gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
