£38,831 - £73,992 (clinical nodal points, level of salary will depend on the NHS training level)
£71,694 - £100,084 (If you are a GP applying for the post, your salary will be determined based on individual experience level)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated clinical research associate with relevant cardiology clinical qualifications and experience to join the STRATIFY_HF team.
STRATIFY-HF is a European-wide research programme with the aim of developing and validating an innovative AI-based decision support system for predicting risk of heart failure (HF), facilitating its early diagnosis and progression prediction that aims to change how HF is managed in primary and secondary care. It is funded by the EU Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and has nine work packages. The University of Cambridge is one of three UK centres conducting a prospective observational clinical study for one work package.
The post-holder will take a leading role in the set-up, conduct, delivery, data collection and reporting of this clinical study in Cambridge. This will involve working in partnership with existing stakeholders locally in the University, Papworth and Addenbrooke's Hospitals, and further afield in the UK and Europe. The role will be based in Cambridge and involve predominantly on-site working.
Essential skills not previously mentioned include medically qualified with GMC licence to practice in the UK; experience of delivering clinical cardiology research projects; excellent IT, communication and organisational skills; a proactive and problem-solving approach. The post-holder may require a DBS/Research passport in the future.
The funds for this post are available until 31 December 2026.
This is a full-time position.
