The Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a Research Associate that will work with multi-modal data, acquired on humans with non-invasive optical, electrical, and ultrasound instruments, requires recruitment of human subjects. The position is focused on recruiting human subjects, help with data collection, learning basics of the instruments used in experiments, making sure data collection adheres to IRB rules.
Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for data collection
- Responsible for interacting with various research groups for data collection with various instruments
- Responsible for interacting with human subjects and obtaining informed consent

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- College degree in a STEM field
- Has performed research in a biomedical lab for at least 1 summer or worked on human subject measurements, including recruitment, for at least 1 year.
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
