A significant goal of this position is the translation of novel epithelial and mesenchymal populations in mice to the relevant equivalent in human models. To accomplish this the candidate must also have previous experience with flow cytometry and primary cell isolation from human lungs. This is a mentored position in the lab space a senior member of the division with preferred candidates having opportunities to prepare manuscripts, mentor students, and write grants.
