Research Coordinator 0.5 FTE Maternity Cover

We are seeking to appoint a Research Coordinator (0.5 FTE) to provide maternity cover. Working within the Research Office, the postholder will support the day-to-day administrative support of the research office, including post-funding grant administration, supporting the Research Integrity and Ethics Committee and the Research Office's work in this area, and other duties where appropriate, including the planning and delivery of research funding applications and, where appropriate, support evidencing research impact.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, organised and detail-oriented individual to:
- Provide expert guidance on funding opportunities
- Support and advise on bid writing
- Coordinate application timelines
- Ensure compliance with both funder and institutional requirements
You will bring:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A strong understanding of the UK research funding landscape
- The ability to work collaboratively to enhance research capacity and impact
The role holder will be supported to further develop their expertise in funding applications and will work as part of a collaborative team to build funding applications at both individual and institutional levels. This role also offers a valuable opportunity to support research excellence.
