Research Coordinator (Non-R.N.)
We are seeking a Research Assistant who will work primarily on an NIH-funded research study investigating healthy aging in autism spectrum disorder. The Research Assistant will get hands-on experience in the administration and study execution, team-science, and protocol development and implementation. The individual will have the opportunity to develop their research skills across multiple methodological approaches, including understanding cognitive and imaging research.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Recruitment and scheduling of research participants.
- Maintains files and records of research data.
- Data collection from a variety of sources.
- Data entry and database management
- Consenting and interviews of research participants
- Preparing study materials and assisting research participants during study visits
- May assist in cognitive testing of research participants
- May assist in the preparation of manuscripts and presentation materials
- May edits research papers, project reports, and publication materials
- May travel to a variety of sites both within and outside the University campus to obtain data.
