Job Description

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking to recruit a Research Engineer (RE) to:

  • Develop a data based surrogate model for high-rate loading (e.g. blast load) in a complex environmental set-up.
  • Develop a data based surrogate model for the rapid analysis of structural response under such high-rate loading conditions.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with experience in related areas such as damage mechanics, machine learning and surrogate model.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Open to fixed-term contract.
