Research Fellow (Cancer Science Institute of Singapore, Dr Peter Yeow's Lab)

Job Description

To support the establishment and advancement of research projects in Dr Yeow's lab by driving experimental work in cell division and centrosome biology in cancer.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and perform experiments related to cell division, centrosome biology, and mitotic regulation
  • Apply high resolution imaging approaches to characterize cellular phenotypes
  • Analyse and interpret experimental data, and contribute to manuscript preparation
  • Work closely with the PI to develop and drive research projects
  • Mentor junior lab members (students and RAs) and contribute to lab operations

Requirements

  • PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, and/or fluorescence microscopy
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
