Job Description
Prof. YAN Shuicheng from the Learning and Vision Lab (LV-AGI and LV-Robotics sub-labs) at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore is exploring AGI (Efficient and Evolving) and Robotics (Embodied AI). We are seeking creative Research Fellows or Senior Research Fellows to join our team and drive breakthrough research. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop novel computational architectures for foundation models, explore embodied AI approaches, and pioneer self-improving methodologies that push the boundaries of intelligent systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead groundbreaking research in AGI with a focus on AGI (Efficient and Evolving) and Robotics (Embodied AI).
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to produce influential publications in premier conferences and journals, significantly impacting the AGI community.

Job Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in AGI research through previous roles in academia, industry, or government research labs.
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields is highly desirable.
- A strong publication record as a first author in top AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ACL) and journals (e.g., TPAMI, JMLR, AIJ), or contributions to high-impact journals such as Cell, Nature, and Science.
- Proficiency in differentiable programming frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
- A proven track record of high-impact research with multiple papers garnering 100+ citations is preferred.
- Recognition through best paper awards or similar accolades at leading conferences is preferred.
- A strong record in international academic competitions is preferred.
