Research Laboratory Tech Assoc

• Molecular, histological, and microbiology techniques
• Ordering and restocking reagents for the laboratory and maintaining laboratory equipment
• Responsible for writing certain components of progress reports and manuscripts.
• May co-author publications and present results in meetings.
• After being trained, the successful candidate may provide supervision for future students and/or other technicians. The level of supervision will be commensurate with the appointee's experience.

• High school diploma or associates degree and 1 year of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willingness to work with laboratory mice and human sample material, including blood, tissue, and stool
• Hands-on experience in microbiology and cell culture with aseptic technique
• Ability to document and communicate in a clear and timely manner
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
