Offer Description
The INCLIVA Foundation is a Health Research Institute accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute and as such an Agent of the National Science and Technology System. Although, it is part of the public sector of the Generalitat Valenciana, has legal personality of a private nature, and is governed by the private legal system and its specific legislation, without prejudice to the rules of public law that are applicable to it.
The International Projects Unit (UPI) of INCLIVA aims to strengthen the internationalization of health research across the different areas of the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valencia, its health department, as well as various research groups from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia and the Carlos Simón Foundation. To this end, INCLIVA’s UPI supports research staff in their participation in European and international R&D&I funding programmes and provides comprehensive management of the projects obtained.
For this reason, a position is announced for a Research Management Technician (M3), Level 2, 29M (European Project Manager). The role involves carrying out tasks related to the management and oversight of European projects, promoting participation in new proposals, drafting proposals, managing applications, and more. The position will be supervised by Dra. Ana Ferrer.
Job responsibilities:
- Project management, including planning, operational monitoring, control of deviations from the Grant Agreement, and participation in scientific and technical meetings, as well as coordination tasks with the teams involved.
- Preparation of reports and deliverables, as well as monitoring and fulfilment of milestones established in the work plans.
- Preparation of the project’s scientific justification and coordination with the participating teams for the collection of technical information and results.
- Attendance and organisation of project meetings and related events. Availability for national and international travel.
- Responsible for supervising and coordinating the staff under their charge and activities related to: a) Ethics Committee for preparation, submission, and monitoring of the documentation required for project approval, as well as for activities associated with subprojects and pilots; b) Economic Management in the planning and financial reporting of the project; c) Communication for content creation and dissemination and communication of project results; d) Legal for the preparation and review of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Consortium Agreements (CAs), and Grant Agreements (GAs) as well as any other contracts between project partners; e) Innovation for the proper protection of intellectual property rights associated with the results and the promotion of technology transfer activities; f) Data Protection for the adequate protection of personal data used in the European project; g) International Projects for the promotion of international calls, drafting and reviewing new international proposals within the research and innovation area.
- Monitoring of services and activities linked to the project, coordination with ecosystem stakeholders, and periodic reporting to project leads to ensure proper implementation.
- Interaction with actors from the national and international research and innovation ecosystem to facilitate collaboration in projects, value creation, and the development of services.

1.-Training merits (Up to 25 points)
1.1 Official Master's degree (of at least 60 ECTS credits or equivalent in hours), related to the duties of the post: 15 points for a PhD and 10 points for a Master’s degree. (Up to 15 points)
1.2 Training courses received oriented towards the performance of the duties of the post to which access is sought. It is computed according to the following scale: (Up to 10 points)
- Courses of 100 hours or more: 5 points per course.
- Courses of 75 hours or more: 3 points per course.
- Courses of 50 or more hours: 2 points per course.
- Courses of 25 or more hours: 1 point per course.
- Courses of 15 hours or more: 0.5 points per course.
- Courses of less than 15 hours: 0.25 points per course.
2.-Languages (Up to 5 points)
- Accredited level of English. Level (B1: 2 points); (B2: 3 points); (C1: 4 points); (C2: 5 points)
3.-Merits related to professional experience and skills related to the post (Up to 60 points)
3.1 Accredited work experience in research and innovation institutions. (5 points per year worked, up to a maximum of 15 points. Periods of less than one year will be prorated by full months).
3.2 Experience in managing European research and innovation projects (5 points per project, up to a maximum of 30 points).
3.3 Experience in managing national, regional, or local research and innovation projects (2 points per project, up to a maximum of 10 points).
3.4 Membership in national or international networks or associations (1 points per network, up to a maximum of 5 points).
4.-Accredited disability certificate (equal to or higher than 33%) (10 points)
5.-Being a victim of gender-based violence (10 points)
6.-Personal interview (up to 10 points)
Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree according to current study plans (MECES 2. EQF6).
- Possess the physical and mental capabilities and aptitudes necessary for the performance of the corresponding functions or tasks, which will be accredited by the applicant through a responsible statement at the time of applying to the job offer.
- Spanish nationality, a work permit, or any other nationality that allows access to employment in the public sector. If the selected person does not have this and is selected, the contract will not be formalized until the corresponding documentation is in order. If this process cannot be completed within the deadline established by the Evaluation Committee, the final candidate cannot be hired; in this case, the position will be left vacant or the next person in order of preference will be hired if such an order has been established in the Resolution.
- To be at least 16 years old and not exceed the maximum age for forced retirement or any other age that may be established by law.
- Not be subject to any incompatibility that prevents the performance of duties under the General regime with an entity belonging to the public sector. This requirement will be accredited by a responsible statement.
- Not be disqualified by a final judgment from performing functions similar to those of the professional category or group to which access is sought. In the case of nationals of other states, not be disqualified or in an equivalent situation in the same terms in their State that prevents access to public employment. This requirement will be accredited by a responsible statement.
- In case of being a former employee of INCLIVA, not have been properly dismissed for disciplinary reasons.
- In case of being a former employee of INCLIVA, have passed the trial period for the related position.
Candidates must necessarily meet each and every one of these minimum requirements, as otherwise they will be automatically excluded from the selection process.
