Applications are invited for appointment as Research Officer in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.:534579), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Microelectronics, or other relevant disciplines. The candidates shall have strong background in the field of organic optoelectronics and/or OLED technology. They should have good publication track record and/or demonstrated expertise in research field. They should be responsible and able to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external parties, including academics and industry partners. They should also have good analytical skills, and a good command of English and Chinese. The appointee will work on a research project led by Professor C.M. Che, focusing on the commercialization of R&D outcomes, with support from government, industry, and academia.

The appointee will be responsible for overseeing the progress of the research project, conducting data analysis, assisting in the preparation of reports and presentation materials, liaising with industrial partners and potential collaborators, and performing other assigned duties.
