Background of the recruitment and description of the project: As part of the research on neutron-based characteristic evaluation technology for lithium-ion batteries that the J-PARC Center has been conducting since FY2019 in collaboration with Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc., we will carry out research and development using the intense pulsed neutron beam at the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility at J-PARC. The research theme is the study of the manufacturing process of lithium-ion batteries or the transport phenomena inside electrode materials during water electrolysis, using small‑angle neutron scattering and neutron reflectometry. The theme also includes the development of evaluation technologies necessary for this research.

- Intermission: 12:00 pm-1:00 pm
