Exciting opportunity at MSK: Join our Thoracic Surgery team as a Research Project Associate! Clinical research staff ensure that research is conducted ethically, efficiently, and with the patient at the center, supporting innovations that shape the future of medicine.
Role Overview:
- Collaborate directly with the Co-Director of the Lung Cancer Screening Program on various prospective and retrospective research projects.
- Assist with the implementation of Lung Cancer Screening Program's vision and goals.
- Responsible for ensuring the highest data quality, operations management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, data management, and strategic planning.
- In compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements, lead all efforts to maintain proper regulatory compliance of the open studies in the service research portfolio.
Key Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Clinical Research/Project Management.
Core Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the regulations pertaining to human subject protection.
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving to ensure unforeseen issues are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely fashion.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels in a confident, professional manner.
- Enthusiasm and dedication to MSK's vision, mission, and values.
