Research Project Manager, Climate Support and Restorative Programs Assessment
Project Overview
The Climate Support Assessment and Restorative Evaluation Initiative advances NYU Silver's commitment to fostering an inclusive, accountable, and restorative learning and working environment. The project examines the impact of climate support interventions, restorative justice practices, community-building initiatives, and organizational response strategies on student, staff, faculty, and alumni experiences.
- Direct and manage climate support assessment and restorative justice evaluation projects.
- Develop and implement assessment plans to evaluate the effectiveness of climate support interventions, restorative justice circles, healing-centered engagement practices, and community response protocols.
- Design, administer, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data collection activities, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and climate assessments.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements across multiple initiatives.
- Hire, train, supervise, and support graduate assistants, research assistants, and project staff.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of project databases and data management systems.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable research protocols.
- Monitor participation, engagement, and outcomes associated with climate support and restorative justice programming.
- Collaborate with faculty, administrators, students, and community stakeholders to support data-informed decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports, presentations, executive summaries, and assessment briefs for school leadership and community partners.
- Conduct program evaluations and continuous quality improvement activities to assess impact and identify emerging needs.
- Support the dissemination of findings through presentations, publications, conference proposals, and institutional communications.
- Coordinate data collection and evaluation efforts across departments and stakeholder groups.
- Assist with strategic planning initiatives related to campus climate, belonging, community well-being, and restorative practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project activities, outcomes, and assessments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
