„Costin D. Nenitzescu” Institute of Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry is organizing a competition to fill a position for a Research Scientist (Postdoctoral Researcher), within the project Integrated multidisciplinary platform for accelerated and innovative therapeutic discovery (THEREFAST) PN-IV-P6-6.1-CoEx-2024-0088, contract 9CoEx/2026.

Skills/Qualifications
- The candidate must hold a PhD degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, awarded no more than 8 years prior to the date of the competition.
- The candidate must demonstrate research experience in the field of chemistry through scientific publications, including at least 10 articles published in ISI-indexed journals, of which at least 5 must be as a lead author or with equal contribution.
- The candidate must have research experience as a former team member in at least 3 research projects.
- The candidate must demonstrate advanced knowledge of the preparation and characterization of controlled-release systems, as evidenced by scientific publications.
- The candidate must have experience with FTIR spectroscopy, UV–Vis spectroscopy, thermal analysis, and dynamic light scattering (DLS).
- The candidate must have competence in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
- The candidate must have practical computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Origin.
Specific Requirements
- Contributes to the achievement of the project objectives and the fulfilment of the established performance indicators by carrying out the research activities assigned by the project leader.
- Participates in the scientific meetings of the project team and proposes measures to improve the research activities.
- Conducts research activities related to chemistry experiments and collaborates with experienced researchers, PhD students, and Master’s students in carrying out the tasks assigned by the project leader.
- Contributes to the identification and continuous assessment of risks associated with project implementation.
- Participates in specialized conferences and congresses to disseminate the project results.
- Contributes to the writing of scientific articles based on the results obtained from the research activities conducted within the project.
- Collaborates with the members of the project team to ensure the effective implementation of both research and administrative activities.
