Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Independently set up HPLC mass spectrometry equipment for
analysis.
- Independently develop and validated HPLC mass spectrometry
assays
- Independently and creatively identify laboratory
solutions.
- Independently review, develop, and implement new or modified
laboratory techniques required for research projects.
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

The laboratory is compliant with the rules of good laboratory practice (cGLP, 21 CFR part 58), and it is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and CLIA certified.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Entry Level
- Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry,
genetics or related field
- A combination of education and related
technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the
bachelor's degree on a year for year basis
- A combination of education and related
technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the
bachelor's degree on a year for year basis
- Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry,
genetics or related field
- A combination of education and related
technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the
bachelor's degree on a year for year basis
- A combination of education and related
technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the

- One (1) year professional level research experience
- Master's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry,
genetics or related field
- Two (2) years of experience in an experimental or wet
laboratory
- Experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
preferably with HPLC – mass spectrometry
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance ideally cGLP/GLP.
- Proficient knowledge of basic laboratory techniques including
safety procedures and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and
orally
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with employees at all levels throughout the
institution
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance
diversity and inclusion
- Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology medical
terminology
- Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:
- Entry Level: $47,811 - $64,067
- Intermediate Level: $52,030 - $69,720
