Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in computational biology to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to publication-driven projects focused on understanding immune dysregulation in autoimmune diseases and identifying novel biomarkers for type 1 diabetes (T1D). Responsibilities include T cell stimulation, antibody staining, cell sorting, constructing bulk and single-cell sequencing libraries, performing RNA-seq, antibody-seq, TCR-seq, and BCR-seq data analyses and integration using R or Python.
Job Responsibilities
Research Specialist A: Perform blood/tissue sample processing and assist with sample management. Maintain cells in culture and perform T cell stimulation. Perform antibody staining and analyses of cells on flow cytometer. Assist with preparation of sequencing libraries and coordinate sample submission for sequencing. Perform data preprocessing, batch effect correction, and basic analyses of sequencing data.
Research Specialist B: In addition to the duties outlined under Research Specialist A, Research Specialist B will be able to independently sort cells and prepare sequencing libraries. Will also carry out advanced downstream analyses of RNA, antibody, TCR, and BCR sequencing datasets.
