Offer Description
Applications are open for one Research Studentships for a student of a course that does not award an academic degree, within the framework of R&D project Exercogs- IST-ID, (1801P.01705.1.01),
Workplan: The scholarship holder will participate in the conceptualisation, design, and validation of serious games for physical and cognitive rehabilitation, applying user-centred design methodologies and co-design approaches with end users and healthcare professionals. The work will foster skills in applied research, interaction design, and user experience evaluation, contributing to the scientific advancement of the project and to the preparation for doctoral studies.
Duration: The research fellowship will have a duration of 12 months, non-renewable. It is expected to begin in October 2026.
It is mandatory to formalize applications with the submission of the following documents: i) B1 Form – Fellowship application (https://ist-id.pt/recursos-humanos/bolseiros/#documentos-relacionados); ii) Curriculum Vitae; iii) academic degree certificate, where applicable; iv) proof of enrollment at an academic degree course or at a course that does not award an academic degree; v) motivation letter; vi) declaration on honour that the applicant does not exceed with this contract an accumulated period of one year in this type of studentship, continuously or with interruptions.

Benefits
Monthly maintenance allowance: the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is € 1359.64, being the payment method by Wire Transfer.

Admission Requirements:

Selection process
Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following: Curriculum evaluation, individual interview (in presence or remote), with the respective weight of 50%/50%.
Composition of the selection Jury: Prof. Alexandre Bernardino, Prof. Rui Prada, Prof. José Santos-Victor.
Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
Deadlines and procedures of complaint and appeal. After notification of the provisional list of evaluation results, candidates have a period of 10 working days to, if they wish, make a statement at a preliminary hearing of interested parties, in accordance with Articles 121 et seq. of the Code of Administrative Procedure. The final decision will be made after analyzing the statements presented at the preliminary hearing of interested parties. The final decision may be appealed to the competition jury or to the President of IST-ID within 15 working days of notification
