Responsibilities
- Coordinates daily operations involving multidisciplinary teams that include partner organizations and other project stakeholders for the Rural Health Transformation Program.
- Supports scheduling, partner communications, convening logistics, and documentation management.
- Coordinates and maintains multiple collaborative relationships both internally and externally to support project goals.
- Provides support to program manager and participates in planning and execution of research activities.
- Reviews technical operations to ensure all processes and protocols adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Coordinates meetings, maintains project timelines, prepares agendas and meeting minutes, monitors milestones, and facilitates communication to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Provides administrative and project management support for program operations.
- Tracks performance measures, prepares progress reports, assists with Agency for Health Care Administration and sponsor reporting requirements, maintains project documentation, monitors subrecipient activities, coordinates required approvals, and supports continuous quality improvement activities.
- Ensures compliance with university, sponsor, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates budgetary and operational activities, including purchasing, travel, contracts, reimbursements, and consultant activities.
- Assists with monitoring expenditures, maintaining project records, scheduling trainings and events, coordinating logistics, and supporting implementation of program activities across multiple service sites.
- Supports the Principal Investigator and program leadership by assisting with strategic planning, grant administration, stakeholder engagement, dissemination activities, presentations, and preparation of reports, manuscripts, and other project materials.
- Performs other related duties assigned in support of program objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
Reliable transportation, and a valid Florida or Georgia Driver's License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.

This position will be supporting Initiative 9 - Health & Lifestyle Northwest region, which is defined as Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington on the Rural Health Transformation Program Map.
This position requires regular travel in support of program activities and responsibilities. Travel may occur within the employee’s assigned region and throughout the State of Florida, as needed. The frequency and location of travel may vary based on programmatic and operational needs.
