Rutgers Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing Fellowships
The Institute invites applications from Ph.D. students, and junior and senior scholars for its 2026–2027 research fellowship competition. The analysis of all forms of broad-based employee share ownership, equity compensation, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), employee ownership trusts (EOTs), worker cooperatives, profit sharing, and gain sharing are welcome. Several $25,000 and $10,000 fellowships are available for scholars from the United States, Canada, and internationally. Stipends can be used for research, travel, or other expenses and are awarded for residence at the scholar’s home university.
To apply, please submit a CV and research plan (1000 to 1500 words) with three letters of reference (sent separately by the letter writers) by February 28, 2026 to: fellowship_program@smlr.rutgers.edu. Decisions will be made by May 1, 2026.
