Scholarship Theme: Supporting the management and promotion of events organized by the International Affairs Area.
Duration: 12 months
Maximum Duration Including Renewals: 12 months
Objectives
The scholarship holder is expected to develop competencies in the field of international cooperation in Higher Education, while actively contributing to the activities of the International Affairs Area. In particular, it aims to enable to: develop skills in the planning, organisation and management of events and collaborative initiatives as instruments for promoting, strengthening and consolidating international partnerships; gain experience in the design and production of communication, promotional and dissemination materials supporting the initiatives carried out by the International Affairs Area; deepen their understanding of international cooperation mechanisms and internationalisation strategies in Higher Education; investigate, identify and apply innovative approaches that contribute to strengthening international cooperation and consolidating institutional partnerships; produce supporting documents and materials that systematise and disseminate the outcomes of the activities undertaken.
Work Plan
The scholarship holder will collaborate in the activities carried out by the International Affairs Area within the framework of international cooperation in Higher Education. The main tasks include: participating in the planning, organisation and management of events and collaborative initiatives; supporting the creation, production and dissemination of communication materials related to the initiatives promoted by the International Affairs Office; conducting research on international cooperation mechanisms, internationalisation strategies and best practices in the Higher Education sector; and contributing to the preparation of documents, reports, supporting materials and other content that systematise and disseminate the outcomes of the activities undertaken.
Contest Procedure

Selection process
Contest Evaluation Method(s)
Curricular evaluation weighted to 60% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
Individual interview weighted to 30% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
Motivação do candidato weighted to 10% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
The minimum final grade needed for admission is 10 points.
Conditions for the Contest Evaluation
The evaluation of scholarship applications will be carried out by the Coordination of the International Affairs Area, taking into account the following methods and criteria: academic merit and the alignment of the applicant's educational background and skills with the objectives and tasks described in the work plan; linguistic and interpersonal skills; previous experience and demonstrated motivation to engage in activities in the field of internationalisation and academic cooperation. The evaluation process will be conducted in a transparent and objective manner, ensuring the selection of the candidate who best fits the profile required for the execution of the planned activities.
