Scholarship Theme: Supporting the management of the International Affairs Area Coordinator.
Duration: 12 months
Maximum Duration Including Renewals: 12 months
Objectives
The scholarship holder is expected to develop skills in the management and implementation of international initiatives in Higher Education, while actively contributing to the activities of the International Affairs Area. In particular, the objectives are to: develop skills in the organisation and coordination of events and collaborative initiatives with international partners; contribute to the design and implementation of communication, promotion and dissemination strategies for international initiatives; deepen their understanding of international cooperation mechanisms in Higher Education, including international networks, partnerships and funding programmes; acquire practical knowledge of the processes involved in the preparation, submission and management of international project applications; explore and apply innovative approaches to strengthen institutional internationalisation; prepare reports, content and supporting materials that document and consolidate the outcomes of the activities carried out.
Work Plan
The scholarship holder will collaborate with the activities of the International Affairs Area, developing skills in the management of international initiatives and international cooperation. The main tasks include: planning and organising events and collaborative initiatives; developing content to promote the activities and initiatives of the International Affairs Area; supporting the implementation of communication and dissemination strategies for project activities and results; implementing and managing international initiatives and programmes; contributing to the preparation, submission and monitoring of international project applications; researching and applying innovative approaches to foster international cooperation; preparing reports and supporting materials that document and consolidate the outcomes of the activities carried out.
Contest Procedure

Selection process
Contest Evaluation Method(s)
Curricular evaluation weighted to 60% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
Individual interview weighted to 30% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
Motivação do candidato weighted to 10% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
The minimum final grade needed for admission is 10 points.
Conditions for the Contest Evaluation
The evaluation of scholarship applications will be carried out by the Coordination of the International Affairs Area, takinginto account the following methods and criteria: academic merit and the alignment of the applicant’s educational background and skills with the objectives and tasks described in the work plan; linguistic and interpersonal skills; previous experience and demonstrated motivation to engage in activities in the field of internationalisation and academic cooperation. The evaluation process will be conducted in a transparent and objective manner, ensuring the selection of the candidate who best fits the profile required for the execution of the planned activities.
