You will play a central role in grant writing, manuscript development, protocol creation, and horizon-scanning for new funding opportunities, while ensuring all studies are delivered to the highest scientific, operational, & regulatory standards. Professor Edison’s team has an outstanding international track record, publishing in world-leading journals including Nature Medicine, The Lancet Neurology, The BMJ, and other Nature journals and producing transformational research with significant societal impact. What we are looking for You should be a highly motivated individual educated to postgraduate level, with a PhD in neuroscience & substantial experience working in this field. You should have excellent writing skills, with the ability to prepare scientific reports, draft grant applications, & contribute to high-quality manuscripts. You should have experience in preparing ethics submissions, managing budgets, supporting staff across research & healthcare settings, and contributing to effective project management. You should have in-depth working knowledge of UK Clinical Trials Regulations, Principles of GCP, the Data Protection Act, and the Research Governance Framework, together with a proven ability to apply these to the coordination of clinical trials.
