Screenwriting Part-Time Instructor Pool 2026-2027
The Department of Film, Animation and New Media in the College of Arts & Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors to teach courses in Screenwriting.
Responsibilities will include:
- Teach one or more 4-hour courses per semester in Screenwriting.
- Utilize department syllabus and course assignments, with meeting times and specific reading and writing assignments for students within the departmental guidelines and program mission.
- Manage online-paperwork grading system.
The successful candidate will have:
- Master of Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting, or Film/Cinema related areas is preferred.
- Experience in Screenwriting is preferred.
- College teaching experience in related areas is preferred.

Additional Information:
Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer.
