Seasonal Part Time - Snapdragon Stadium Club Cashier
COMPENSATION:
Pay Rate: $19.71 per hour

Provides responsive and high quality customer services to promote positive impressions to customers. Works efficiently as a team member, taking initiative to perform tasks, resolve problems and ensure successful outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DEPENDING ON LOCATION:

- Takes orders and serves food to customers.
- May prepare, cook, or assemble food items, such as sandwiches and salads, and wrap or place orders in containers for carry-out.
- Processes cash, credit card, and meal card transactions.
- Assists with stocking/restocking of inventory and replenishment of food items, utensils, napkins, etc.
- Maintains clean work areas and tools/equipment.
- Provides quality customer service while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Uses interpersonal skills to build customer confidence.
- Maintains positive working relationships with customers and peers.
- Observes all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Must comply with and ensure continued, consistent compliance with all company policies, and federal, state and local laws/regulations including but not limited to: employment, safety, health.
- Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs. This may include opening, mid-day, and closing shifts, as well as night shifts, weekends, and holidays throughout the year.

Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The minimum requirement for applicants is a High School Diploma or a General Education Development (GED) degree is required. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Food Handler from the County of San Diego and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR STANDARDS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to read, write and understand English. Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, guidelines and objectives. Requires the ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees using correct English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills with the ability to count in ascending or descending order. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
REASONING ABILITY:
Requires the ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out general written or oral instruction.
MANUAL DEXTERITY:
Requires the ability to use a variety of equipment and utensils.
PHYSICAL COMMUNICATION:
Must have the ability to talk/expressing and/or exchanging ideas and hear/perceiving sounds. Physical appearance presented to the public and internal employees must be professional.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to operate cash registers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for prolonged hours; handle and reach objects. Employees are occasionally required to stand, walk/move. Must be able to move, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds. Employees may need to ascend/descend stairs.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND HAZARDS
Work is regularly performed in a food production area where there is frequent exposure to food fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts as well as cleaning chemicals. The employee will work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, allergens and work temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate on non-event days and moderate to loud on event days. As needed to work outdoors; exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, allergens, work temperatures and noise.
