Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Administration Officer to join QUT College, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.
The Senior Administration Officer (SAO) for TNE Implementation plays a critical role in establishing the operational foundation for QUT College's Transnational Education (TNE) programs in China. This position is focused on the pre-commencement and preparatory phase, providing specialist logistical, compliance, and human resources support to ensure the smooth launch of the offshore program. The role requires a high degree of initiative, interpretation of international policy, and coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders. This position reports to the Executive Director, QUT College for career planning, development, and performance expectations

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience.
- Well-developed administrative and organisational skills with a proven ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks with limited direction to meet deadlines and balance competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to display initiative, contribute new ideas, evaluate current systems and processes, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the provision of student services.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with, and provide excellent service to, a diverse client group in a cross-cultural environment to achieve business outcomes and adapt to changing needs.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures, data and legislation, to deliver high-quality services.
- Demonstrated digital literacy skills including Office 365 and Microsoft suite, electronic record management systems and other large corporate systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
