The appointee is expected to
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for academic planning and development, research and scholarly events, global engagement and knowledge transfer of the Division
- Handle research grant and project matters, involve coordination of research grant applications
- Provide support to the Person in Charge of Division in planning and development of the Division
- Serve on committees and other working groups and/or task forces
- Handle reimbursement and payments for academic staff members
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Person in Charge of Division or her delegates
Requirements
- A recognized degree plus at least four years of relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably in research administration within a higher education setting
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, and be able to communicate effectively in Putonghua and Cantonese
- Excellent liaison, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Display a high level of responsibility, independence and professionalism in managing multiple priorities
- Positive working attitude and the ability to work well as a team player
Salary and Benefits
The commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
