Advise and assist prospective students by explaining admissions
requirements, scholarships and financial aid, academic programs,
and campus life.
Travel within your assigned territory for recruitment,
including evening and weekend travel.
Provide a prompt review of admission applications for students
within assigned territory.
Build strong relationships with prospective students and
families, high school contacts, and campus and community
partners.
Manage recruitment territory by utilizing data to plan travel,
make admissions decisions, and communicating with students.
Coordinate special recruitment events on-campus and off-campus
with various stakeholders (current students, staff and faculty,
alumni volunteers) to promote the university.
Utilize computer database to update student and high school
records and log communications. ·
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable
knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in student recruitment, territory management,
marketing, or other highly interactive promotional fields.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, and
excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with PeopleSoft and Slate, high
comfort level with technology and the ability to analyze and
present data effectively.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and proven
ability to work autonomously within a collaborative remote team
setting.
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established
as $19.25-$21.12 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not
limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education,
skills, and experience, as well as organizational
requirements.
